Andrea Goplerud joined the Washington, D.C. office of Kator, Parks & Weiser in the Fall of 2010. She is licensed to practice in the State of New York and in the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining Kator, Parks & Weiser, Ms. Goplerud clerked for the Honorable Peter J. Messitte of the Federal District Court for the District of Maryland. She also worked as an Associate Attorney in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Ms. Goplerud graduated with high honors from The George Washington University Law School in 2008, and was admitted to the Order of the Coif. During law school, she was an Associate Editor for The George Washington University Law Review. She was also a research assistant to Professors Ira C. Lupu and Robert Tuttle, and she interned for the American Civil Liberties Union.
Prior to law school, Ms. Goplerud earned her Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, where she focused on the intersection of religion and public life. In 2001, she graduated magna cum laude with a major in Religion and a minor in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.
